QEEG Mentoring Program-Course. Advanced Level

The QEEG Mentoring Program is delivered in ten (10) separate, non-consecutive sessions over a 5-month period to provide comprehensive support to students seeking advanced QEEG knowledge and practice.

Classes are held online via ZOOM (you can also watch the recording) on Sundays from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM according to the schedule.

Start November 22, 2026 - April 2027. 2 sessions per month: November 22, December 6-20, January 10-24, February 7-21, March 7-21, April 4.

The cost is 500 euros per course.

Format

The sessions will be held online and will focus on the analysis and quantitative processing of EEG data, using various software packages:

  • Neuroguide

  • Brainboost

All participants are encouraged to provide their own case studies in EEG or QEEG map format for group review. During the sessions, Yulia Tolpygina will step by step review the process of working with EEG data, starting with reading raw EEG data and ending with comprehensive analysis.

Structure and Themes

What participants will learn

Participants will be introduced to:

  • Quantitative data processing and comparison with normative databases

  • Data preparation for Independent Component Analysis (ICA)

  • Source localization of brain activity using LORETA

  • The use of key analytical metrics, including:

    • power–power coupling

    • phase–amplitude coupling

    • coherence

    • symmetry

Functional Brain Networks

We will also explore in detail the major functional brain networks commonly used in neuroscience, clinical neuropsychology, and fMRI/QEEG research:

  • Default Mode Network (DMN) — resting-state network

  • Central Executive Network (CEN) — executive control network

  • Salience Network (SN) — salience detection network

  • Dorsal Attention Network (DAN) — goal-directed attention

  • Ventral Attention Network (VAN) — stimulus-driven attention

  • Somatomotor (Sensorimotor) Network

  • Visual Network

  • Auditory Network

  • Limbic Network

  • Frontoparietal Control Network (FPN)

  • Language Network

  • Memory Network

These methods allow for a deeper understanding of how a client’s neurophysiological profile relates to their symptoms and clinical presentation.

Each session concludes with the development of practical protocols that participants can directly integrate into their professional work — whether in neurofeedback or neurocorrection.
