Service Description

Neurodiagnostics assesses a child's brain function in various areas: intellectual, cognitive, academic, motor, emotional, and behavioral. Common reasons for seeking diagnostics include attention problems, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral difficulties, trauma, and parents' desire to learn about their child's readiness for school or their level of comprehensive development. Test results help unlock potential and identify a child's strengths and weaknesses to improve their academic success, social adaptation, and other areas. We provide neuroconsultations for children and adolescents aged 0 to 18 years. For children under 3 years old, adaptive neurodiagnostics is performed. The consultation includes: • questionnaires and interviews with parents/guardians and the child; • neurotesting appropriate for age (1.5 - 2 hours) • meeting and discussion with parents and recommendations from Yulia Tolpygina (1 hour) The total duration of the consultation is up to 3 hours. Depending on age, the following areas are assessed: • Reflex integration • Intelligence (verbal and nonverbal abilities) • Academic skills (reading, reading comprehension, spelling, written language, arithmetic, and task speed) • Memory and learning (verbal and visual) • Attention and concentration • Speech and language (auditory perception and expression) • Information processing speed • Visual and visual-spatial perception; • Motor skills; • Executive functions (planning, self-control, problem solving, etc.) • Emotional and behavioral functioning The child is provided with breaks, including time for a snack or lunch. If fatigue or decreased concentration is evident, the consultation may be split into two sessions and completed on another day. Following the consultation, an in-person or online meeting with parents/guardians (usually an hour) is held to discuss the results. Parents receive additional information about development, recommendations, and a plan for further action. The cost of a regular consultation is $750.
